You MUST have a Wii.
It MUST have the HomeBrew Channel Installed.
You NEED either an SD Card, Flash Drive, or HDD with at LEAST 2GB FREE.
It MUST be formatted to FAT32 or NTFS. WBFS will NOT work.
*NOTE- This does NOT allow Game Cube Loading from USB.
Only BACKUP Games YOU OWN.
You NEED base IOS58 installed.
To play the Backup, your Wii MUST be modded to read DVD-R Discs.
It ALSO MUST be patched for Game Cube DVD-R Backup.
When finished, it will place the “Game Title”.ISO on your USB drive or SD card if you chose that option.
Copy that to your computer, and use Nero or IMGBurn to burn the disc to a DVD-R. NOT +R. You can use any program that recognizes .ISO files to burn it also.
BTW, speed of burning HAS NO EFFECT on the quality of the disc. It depends what your computer and or DVD Drive can handle. No matter what anyone says, it does NOT matter. Do the research if you wish.
If you installed Darkcorps on your Wii, then it will read the Backup right through the Disc Channel.

BACK UP your old PlayStation 3 first if you’re transferring a hard drive.
NOTES:
- Upon the first start up after upgrading, you may get a message stating “the system software cannot be run properly”.
What to do: Get a USB stick or flash card, create a folder and name it PS3. Within that folder, create another and name it UPDATE. Then, go to the Playstation website, download the most recent update, copy it to the memory device, pop it in your PS3 and then press and hold the START and SELECT buttons on the controller. From there on it’s pretty straight forward.
- This is a recent 80GB model. Older models have smaller screws on the hard drive case. You will be required to use a very tiny cross-head screw driver and BE CAREFUL. Those screws are EASY to strip.

How to uninstall 3.55GeoHot and install waninkoko:
1.Download official 3.55 firmware(google it)
2. Use ur usb stick, formatted FAT32. At the root of your usb stick(when u browse the stick) make a folder called PS3,Then inside PS3 make folder called UPDATE. Drag the file u downloaded(3.55 official firmware) in there(UPDATE folder).
3.use ur usb stick on your ps3, install same as you installed jailbreak(go to system update, storage media)
HOW TO JAILBREAK:
1. Install the PS3 Custom Firmware PUP on your Flash Drive
2. Update to OFFICAL 3.55 Before Updating To 3.55 on your flash drive
3. Once updated to OFW 3.55 Go to System Update
4. Click “Install From Media” and it Should say 3.55-waninkoko
5. Go ahead and click OK, BUT FOR GOD SAKE DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR PS3!!!
6. If Update Goes OK, Delete The UPDATE.pup form your USB Drive, And Copy over “multiMAN”
7. Power up your PS3 and go to “Install Package Files” When the USB drive is plugged in
8. Go ahead can click “multiMAN”
9. Verifiy that its installed, and go ahead and launch it.
16. Backup a game, either to your internal HDD or and external HDD, mount it then play it 
.

HOW TO COPY LARGE GAMES IN FAT32
HARDRIVE!
1. download PS3Splitter from

2. install and run the program
3. go to Options and select
where you want to save the
split game
4.go to Execute and select
folder where game is saved
just wait for it…..
it took about 15-20 min for a 20GB game
the game i split is Drake 2
now just copy it to a BIG FAT32 HDD and have fun!!

Here are the details regarding the Playstation 3 hard drive upgrade. My original PS3 had a 20GB drive!
- PS3 HDs must be formatted FAT32
- Your backup drive must also be formatted FAT32
- You must use a 2.5″ laptop size hard drive
- There is currently one 1TB drive that works, it’s made by WD here is the model number -WD10JPVT
The reason for doing an upgrade like this is to avoid having to delete game saves, game data, PSN store games etc. The PS3 also makes a great entertainment center, when paired with a large hard drive it can house most (if not all) of ones media.

In this part I am going to show you how you load games off the Network from your Computer. This is way faster then loading games of a USB HDD.
Needed Files:
Open PS2 Loader (loading PS2 games of USB hard drives and Network)

Note that I showed the PS2 client loader in the first part, but the Ps2loader is different from it. It wont accept things you put in the sharing list. You actually have to name and share a Harddrive from your Computer “PS2SMB” in order for it to work.
In Part 3 I will explain how you manage files on the PS2. This also helps to backup Saves so you have more space on your Memory Card.

This tutorial shows step by step how to install 3.55 custom firmware via usb flash drive method, to your PS3 slim or fat!
This allows backing up game discs to PS3 or Downloading new games from torrents (piracy).
YOU CANNOT DOWNGRADE FROM 3.56+
Video Skipper:
1. Format USB drive with FAT32.
2. Make PS3/UPDATE folder on USB. Copy over Official Firmware from sony’s website.
3. Reboot PS3 into recovery mode and update from USB.
4. Put USB back in PC and replace official firmware with kmeaw’s firmware in step1 folder of download. Put pckg’s from step2 onto USB root directory.
5. On PS3, update via removable media. Once done flashing, “install package files”
6. Open multiman.
7. (For downloaded games) Insert Fat32 external harddrive to computer, and create folder called GAMES. Copy game folders inside there.
PS3 Hacking Scene Background (In order from old to new):
- Sony removes OtherOS from the PS3 in version 3.21, which used to allow opensuorce developers to write their own software for their PS3’s.
- A separate, underground hacker group named fail0verflow, found a signing key that enabled access to the ‘nitty gritty’ of the ps3, which opened up the development world once again.
- Soon after, firmware developers started using this key to edit the official Sony firmware updates, to create their own CUSTOM firmware, which enables installation of code that isn’t signed by Sony. The main focus of this was to get OtherOS back. Of coarse, there are a lot more possibilities with this, such as piracy, which would not have been found in the first place if Sony never off the development community by blocking them off from tinkering with their own $400 product.
- Sony takes Geohot and other firmware developers to court, suing them with hefty, unnecessary charges, likely to make examples of them. (I find it ironic that Geohot didn’t even support piracy in his firmware version)
- Another underground hacker group looks to retaliate by shutting down the Sony servers. Soon after, they realize that this is unfair to the gamers that would like to play games online, and know nothing about what is going on. They put the servers back online. Sony apologizes.
- Another hacker uses the same techniques to gain access to the Sony servers, but this one, for more mischievous actions. This creates law suits for Sony, and customers complaining about credit card information being given away to a hacker. Sony hires a team to secure their networks (you know, cause a major corporation like Sony can’t afford to have their network built with security.. they spend it all on advertisement space i suppose)
- Today, the fight continues through firmware updates. Each time an update is available, a “security feature” is added to remove exploits which would allow a PS3 to achieve its full potential. (I don’t blame them for this, because piracy is big now.. but they did bring it on themselves) These updates are required in order to access the playstation network and play games online.
