If you’re comfortable using Windows Explorer, you can easily move your music from your iPod to your PC (iTunes). This is great if your computer’s hard drive crashes and you “lose” your music within iTunes. There’s software you can buy that sells for $20 or more out there, but there’s no reason to spend any cash at all. Check it out.
