How To Backup Your Drivers Easy
One of the main reasons why you would want to collect installed drivers is if you dont have the Driver CD that came with the computer or they are unavailable online. This comes in quite handy if you purchase a computer and want to backup the initial set of drivers. It can be quite difficulty for example to find drivers for hardware installed in a notebook if the operating system has to be setup again. Luckily these Driver backup programs can now lend you a hand with that and save you a lot of time.

What are the “DriverPacks”?
Each DriverPack is a package of drivers for a particular category of hardware. There are for example DriverPacks for Sound devices and for Graphics devices. So many out there just claim compatiblity with XP and Vista … but what about 64 bit? Thanks for any tips!
Vista has it’s own built in Backup and Restore utility. Just do a search for "Backup" on the start menu.
I guess u might have some problems if you are going to backup entire HD using win built-in backup utility.
it’s quite useful for backuping some crucial files.

Hola amigos, aquí les muestro una excelente utilidad para poder crear un backup de los drivers de tu PC o Notebook.
El programa utilizado se llama DoubleDriver y es uno de los mejores que hay para hacer copia de respaldo de los controladores: Impresoras, tarjetas de video, placas WIFI, cámaras, audio etc … ( Es 100% gratuito)
El programa no necesita de instalación, simplemente con hacer clic en el archivo dd.exe ya se podrá utilizar.
Luego de hacer hacer clic en el botón Scan para comenzar a buscar todos los controladores instalados en tu PC o Notebook, podrás elegir hacer la copia de seguridad de todos los drivers, o simplemente de los que desees.
Por último, el programa también te dá la opción de restaurarlos a todos, o lo puedes hacer tú mismo desde la opción “Administrador de dispositivos” de Windows XP o windows 7.
